OOCanada.ca - E-Transfer Payment & Refund Disclaimer

1. HOW PAYMENTS ARE MADE

OOCanada.ca membership plans are currently paid exclusively by Interac e-Transfer. OOCanada.ca does not use a third-party payment processor and does not currently accept credit cards, debit cards, or other online payment methods.
To activate or renew a membership, the supplier must send an Interac e-Transfer to the official payment address provided by OOCanada.ca and provide any requested information necessary to match the payment to the correct account.
Suppliers are responsible for verifying the recipient’s email address, payment amount, and payment instructions
before sending funds.

2. PAYMENT CONFIRMATION AND ACTIVATION

Because Interac e-Transfer payments are processed manually, payments are not confirmed automatically or instantly.
Account activation, renewal, or access to membership benefits occurs only after OOCanada.ca has:
● Received the funds;
● Matched the payment to the appropriate supplier account; and
● Issued confirmation to the supplier.
Suppliers should allow a reasonable processing period and must not assume that a listing or membership is active until confirmation has been received from OOCanada.ca.

3. E-TRANSFER CANCELLATIONS, REVERSALS, AND CHARGEBACKS

Interac e-Transfer is a direct bank-to-bank payment method. It does not provide the same chargeback rights generally associated with credit-card payments. Depending on the supplier’s financial institution, an e-Transfer may be cancellable before it has been deposited or accepted. Once an e-Transfer has been deposited, it generally cannot be cancelled through the ordinary e-Transfer process. Suppliers acknowledge the risks associated with sending funds by e-Transfer. OOCanada.ca is not responsible for
payments:
● Sent to an incorrect recipient or email address;
● Sent in an incorrect amount;
● Sent without sufficient account-identification information; or
● Sent in response to a fraudulent or impersonated payment request.

4. FRAUD AND IMPERSONATION WARNING

OOCanada.ca will request payment only through official contact information published on the OOCanada.ca website or provided through verified OOCanada.ca communications.
Before sending funds, suppliers should independently verify any payment request that:
● Appears unusual or unexpectedly urgent;
● Requests payment to an unfamiliar address;
● Contains changed payment instructions;
● Comes from an unrecognized email address or telephone number; or
● Requests confidential banking information.
OOCanada.ca will never ask suppliers to disclose their online-banking password or security credentials. To the fullest extent permitted by law, OOCanada.ca is not liable for losses resulting from funds sent in response to fraudulent, altered, unauthorized, or impersonated communications not sent or approved by OOCanada.ca.

5. REFUND POLICY

● Membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been confirmed and the supplier’s listing, membership, or associated benefits have been activated.
● If a payment is sent in error before any service has been activated, the supplier should contact support@oocanada.ca as soon as possible. Any refund request will be reviewed individually. Approval is at
OOCanada.ca’s discretion, subject to applicable law, and is not guaranteed.
● If OOCanada.ca approves a refund, reasonable bank charges, transfer costs, or administrative costs may be deducted from the refunded amount where permitted by law.
● OOCanada.ca does not guarantee sales, leads, website traffic, contracts, export opportunities, or other commercialoutcomes. Dissatisfaction with business results does not constitute grounds for a refund.
● Refund eligibility remains subject to the OOCanada.ca Terms & Conditions and any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

6. VISIBILITY ONLY

OOCanada.ca is a Canadian business directory, promotional, and supplier-discovery platform.
Membership provides your business with professional visibility on the OOCanada.ca platform and through related promotional activities. OOCanada.ca provides visibility, exposure, marketing support, and supplier-discovery opportunities only. OOCanada.ca does not guarantee:
● Sales;
● Revenue;
● Customer inquiries;
● Leads;
● Contracts;
● Export opportunities;
● Website traffic;
● Search-engine rankings;
● Business growth;
● Return on investment (ROI); or
● Commercial success.

Business results depend on many factors beyond OOCanada.ca’s control, including your products, pricing, competitiveness, availability, responsiveness, reputation, customer service, and market demand. Accordingly, dissatisfaction with business results including the absence of inquiries, leads, sales, contracts, or export opportunities does not constitute grounds for a refund.

7. CANCELLATION

Suppliers who wish to cancel their membership must notify OOCanada.ca in writing at support@oocanada.ca. Because OOCanada.ca does not currently use automatic billing, cancellation means that OOCanada.ca will not request or process a future renewal unless the supplier provides new authorization and payment. Cancellation does not entitle the supplier to a full or partial refund of fees already paid for the current membership
period. Unless otherwise stated in the applicable membership offer, the supplier’s listing and membership benefits may remain active until the end of the paid membership period.

8. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER TERMS

This E-Transfer Payment & Refund Disclaimer supplements and must be read together with the:
● OOCanada.ca Terms & Conditions;
● Pricing Page Disclaimer;
● Privacy Policy; and
● Applicable membership or promotional offer.
If there is a conflict between this disclaimer and the OOCanada.ca Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions will govern, subject to applicable law.

Changes will not retroactively remove any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
